Yes. The Kangen Water machine was originally manufactured for hospital use and nurses don't have time to turn it off after each use. The company engineered a power system that never overheats.
Select the "Strong Acidic" setting. The drain emits that water and the top spout emits the "Strong Kangen" The electrolysis enhancing solution tank must be filled in order to be able to produce those types of water. Immediately after actually producing, place the machine into any other setting and run the water until the "Notice of Cleaning" alert clears.
Each day and night: run for one minute on the "Beauty Water" setting before first use and after last one, each and every day.
Bi-weekly / monthly: perform the "E-cleaning" procedure. See your manual or online videos for more information.
Yearly - if you have been "E-cleaning" consistently: "Deep Cleaning" procedure performed by a professional. 6-months if you have NOT been "E-cleaning" religiously. Call us for more information.
Machine pre-filter cartridge is replaced when the LCD screen / verbal alert indicates so, or anytime sooner if you feel that the highest-level of purification is desired.
This is an electronic rebooting of the system - NO CHEMICALS ARE USED for this process. It automatically occurs every 15-minutes of use. Simply run the water until the alert is cleared.
1. LeveLuk R model - reset button is located near the other selection buttons.
2. "JRII, JRIV, & SD501" models - reset button is located behind the machine pre-filter cover and in the upper right-hand corner.
3. "SD501U" - reset button is located in the center of the remote control panel.
4. "K8" - reset occurs automatically once a new, "O. E. M." cartridge is inserted.
ONLY use machine pre-filter cartridges manufactured by the Enagic Company directly.
